She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Rutkowski and Ada Rutkowski (Andreoli). She is survived by: her sister Irene Donovan of Kingsford; her daughters, Linda Smith (Alburtus) of Virginia Beach and Dawn Griggs (Thomas Miksa) of Iron Mountain; her grandchildren, Amanda Griggs, Abby Griggs (Anthony Adams) and Jacob Griggs (Sydney Loukus) of Iron Mountain; and her great grandchildren, Isaac and Anabelle Carpenter of Iron Mountain.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all who wish to remember Bernice make a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which was a charity that she supported all of her life.
