He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Mainville and Catherine Mainville (Klein); his wife Dorothy Ann Weinfurter; his siblings, Grant, Garland, Norman Mainville, Carmen Valentine, Earldene Johnson, Lois Rice and Frances Gussert; and his brothers-in-law, Edwin, Vernon, John "Ted", Robert Weinfurter and Peter Quick.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Schettler (Jack) of Breitung Township, Michael Mainville (Laura) of Spread Eagle, Cynthia Horenstein (Jon) of Florida, Cathy Pera (Bill "Cliff") of Iron Mountain and Mary Kay McKenney (Curt) of Duluth; his grandchildren, Jeffery Schettler (Jen), Stacy Schettler, Michael Mainville (Teresa), Angela Jack (Neal), Gwenn Rice (Bob), Nicholas Mainville (Allison), Benjamin Mainville (Makhayla), Alexandra Horenstein (Nick Weaver), Jonathan Horenstein, Julia Wareham (William), Audra Ingram (Jesse), Emily Pera (Nate), Victoria McKenney and Christopher McKenney (Roopal); and his siblings-in-law, Howard DeWayne Weinfurter (Pam), Ronald Weinfurter (Joyce), Donna Weinfurter, Shirley Weinfurter, Elizabeth Weinfurter, Nora Weinfurter and Joyce Quick. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
