It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara R. Sandberg (Kingsford, Michigan), born in Hibbing, Minnesota, who passed away on March 9, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ernest Nigra. She is survived by: her parent Hazel Nigra (Connor); her husband LeRoy; her children, Mark Sandberg (Patty) of South Bend, IN, Kathy Beaster (Scott) of Kingsford, Patty Olson of Depere and Thomas "Beaver" Sandberg (Jeni) of Iron Mountain; her sister Diane Jobin of California; her aunt Alta Nylund of Washington; her sister-in-law Anna Sandberg Trenberth of Hibbing; and also Betty Nigra Mattson of Duluth. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
