It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Gorkowski (Kinde, Michigan), born in Port Austin, Michigan, who passed away on December 23, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ventline and Tillie Ventline (Fisher); her granddaughter Laura Miller; her great grandchild Zaiden Perez; her brothers, Joe Ventline (Sandy), Martin, George and James Ventline; and her parents-in-law, Joyce Ventline, Pete Gorkowski (Jean), Eugene Gorkowski (Aggie), Irene Ignash (Alger), James McEachin, Clarence Rutkowski and Bernadette Young (Jay).
She is survived by: her children, Debra Engel (Darryl) of St. Charles, IL, Frank Gorkowski (Linda) of Filion, MI, Cynthia Miller (Michael) of Eagan, MN, James Gorkowski (Jackie) of Hudson, FL, John Gorkowski (Mary) of Filion, MI and Susan Attwell of Marquette, MI; her siblings, Virginia Dropiewski of Ubly, Helen Rifenbark (Ralph) of Bad Axe and Clarence Ventline of Donaldson, IN; and her sisters-in-law, Delphine McEachin of Ubly and Christine Rutkowski of Ubly. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or A Change of Seasons Hospice.
