It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward James Goretski of Kinde, Michigan, who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Goretski and Alice Goretski (Pinkoski); his wife Marie Byarski; his siblings, Ervin, Raymond, Bob Goretski, Theresa Bodis and Irene Yaroch; and his sons-in-law, Stephen Schipinski and Rod Rice.
He is survived by: his daughters, Monica Rice of Kinde, Cheryl Peyerk (Chris) of Kinde, Janet Hatch (Leroy) of Kinde and Julie Schipinski (Mike Ornowski) of Filion; his grandchildren, Christina Krebs (John) of Kinde, Tony Hatch (Jessica) of Port Austin, Keri Tenbush (Ryan) of Rapson, Matthew Hatch (Michelle Sieve) of Bad Axe, Leah Schipinski of Port Huron and Mallory Kiehl (Jarrod) of Rapson; and his great grandchildren, Isabella, Brooke Tenbush, Jack, Ava Krebs, Chevelle Hatch, Evie Hatch and Kyrie Schipinski.
