It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice M. Drake of Kinde, Michigan, born in Minden City, Michigan, who passed away on June 24, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Heilig and Margaret Heilig (Oswald); her brothers, Paul, Clarence, Mark, Ralph, Benjamin, Bernard, Bill, Nick and Harold; her grandmothers, Gert Cerveny, Catherine Stewart, Genevive Mitoff, Margaret Peyok, Winnie Sageman and Regina Koglin; and her stepgrandson Dustin Tice (Buck).
She is survived by: her children, Melvin Drake (Pam) and June Tice (Mark); her grandchildren, Renee Guigar (Bill), Melissa Miller (Corey), Jennifer Drake, Joshua Drake (Kelly), Tami Wahl (Chris), Scott Toner and Shawn Tice; her stepgrandchildren, Courtney Logan (Joshua), Mandy Patterson (Archie) and Chad Fisher (Tricia); her siblings, Wilfred, Gerald, Jeanette Heilig and Lucy Hintz; and her sister-in-law Lillian Drake. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren.
