It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Hudson of Kincheloe, Michigan, who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvo Hanka and Senia Hanka (Heikkinen); and her son Glen Orr. She is survived by: her children, Vicki Dougherty (Chris) and Timothy Orr (Phyllis); her sister Nina Geskey (Brent); her grandchildren, Brandy Godfrey, Erik Nayback and Dallas Orr; her great grandchildren, Austin, Macie, Miah, Shelby and Evan; her friend James Orr; and her siblings, George Hanka, Roy Hanka, Gordon Hanka, Edsel Hanka, Paul Hanka, Florence Scott, Lorraine Kaskela and Ruth Downs.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Family Life Funeral Homes - Pickford (24549 M-129, Pickford, MI 49774). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Memorial Luncheon Oct (3047 M-80, Kinross Charter Twp, MI 49752).
