He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald "Basil" and Margret Warner (Finch). He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Kay Glore; his wife Sandra Warner; his daughters, Amy Hammons (Jim) of Amarillo, TX and Tracie MacDowell (Ron) of Rudyard, MI; his grandchildren, James Hammons III, Sharon Hammons, Jessica Hammons, Donna Schale (Christian), Kayla Limonez (Will), Evan MacDowell and Aaron MacDowell; his great grandchild Christian Schale, Jr.; and his sister Donna Wood (Mitch Buchanan) of Raber.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to help with funeral expenses.
