He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kuhar and Rose Kuhar; and his son-in-law Mark Harrington. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Kuhar; his children, Dawn Harrington and Jason Kuhar; his grandchildren, Haley, Nicholas, Danica, Derek, Heather and Meagan; his great grandchild Cohen; and his brother Ken Kuhar (Adele). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
