He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Sayyae and Grace Sayyae; his wife Gloria Palm; and his siblings, John, Frances, Geraldine and Jeanine.

He is survived by: his brother Bill Sayyae (Dorothy); his children, Bradley, Annette Heiden (Jim), Julie and Greg Sayyae (Nicolle); his grandchildren, Ashley Neely (Jess), Ethan Heiden (Elizabeth), Rachael Blea (Zach), Alison, Emma Yardley, Adam, Nate and Joe Sayyae; and his great grandchildren, Kate Neely, Emma, Luke, Olivia Heiden, Charlotte, Ryleigh and Lincoln Blea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations to Hospice of Michigan are encouraged.
