He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hoey and Bettye Hoey; and his sister Katherine Brown. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hoey; his son Doug Hoey (Stacie); his grandsons, Sean and Ben Hoey; his son David Hoey; and his sisters, Barbara Pingston and Deborah Rocholl.
