He is survived by: his children, Brandon LaFrance of Livonia, Caitlen Gootee of Bellaire and Alyssa Gootee of Bellaire; his grandson Bryce LaFrance; his stepson Corey Newsome; his siblings, Kasandra Creger (William), Jason Gootee, Wayne Gootee (Cindi), Larry Gootee Jr., Michael Gootee Jr. and Marie Gootee; and his stepfather Roger Burgess. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
