We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2023, at the age of 85, William Peter Schotanus in Kentwood, Michigan, born in Whitinsville, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Raymond Schotanus (May) and Thelma DeYoung (Sidney); and his brothers-in-law, Gene Ansorge, James Vanderlaan, John VanderLaan and John Tuffs.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn VanderLaan; his children, Ann and Bill Schotanus (Dawn); his grandchildren, Claire Sytsma (Brandon), Grace Schotanus, Carrie Brown, Jake Schotanus and Paige Schotanus; his siblings, Viola Ansorge and Dr. Peter Schotanus (Charlotte); and his parents-in-law, Eunice Vanderlaan, Judy Tuffs and Tom VanderLaan (Lynda).
