He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Knoper and Ruth Knoper (Gezon); and his grandson Scott Edgar. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Knoper (Morelle); his children, Kimberly, Bruce Diemer and Debbie Mickel; his grandchildren, Emily, John McCarthy, Connor, Jodie Diemer, Tim Edgar and Brian Edgar; his great grandchildren, Jack, June McCarthy, Jenna Diemer and Amaya Haig; and his siblings, Ronald Knoper of Zeeland, Bruce, Ruth Knoper of Zeeland, Karin Don Carlos of Wisconsin and Marcia DeYoung of Zeeland.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In honor of Wayne's memory, memorial contributions may be directed to the Lemmen Holton Cancer Center.
