The passing of Roger DeMaagd of Kentwood, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 27, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Roger is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Roger's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Marcia; and his grandson Chad Flietstra. He is survived by: his wife Wilma; and his children, Steve DeMaagd (Nancy), Patricia Flietstra (Casey), Pamela DeMaagd-Ondersma (Samuel Ondersma), Cathy Wohlfert (Al), Michele Klunder (Bob Wierckz) and John DeMaagd (Vicki). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Christian Reformed Church (190 100th St SE, Byron Center, MI 49315).
Memorial contributions in memory of Roger may be made to Moline Christian School.
