It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert W. Cornelisse of Kentwood, Michigan, who passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Evelyn (Faber); his wife Mickey (Maxine Dyer); and his grandson Christopher Godfrey. He is survived by: his children, Kathy, Patrick Bigelow, Robert L., Joyce Cornelisse, Susan and Russ Godfrey; his grandchildren, Tia, Brandon Beak, Katie, Scott Fitton, Kelly, Kevin Whittemore, Kerry, Ethan Oostdyk, Sharon Godfrey, Shelby Godfrey-Gruis, Michael Gruis and Luke Godfrey (Zee Boyce); his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Addison Beak, Robert S. Fitton, Juliette Fitton, Samuel Oostdyk and Seth Oostdyk; and his stepsons, Gary Dyer, Craig Dyer, Walt Dyer, Matt Dyer and Brian Dyer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
