It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Neumann of Kentwood, Michigan, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lestor Stone and Leona Stone (Bickhaus). She is survived by: her sons, Mark Neumann (Mary Oldenburg), Gregory Neumann (Annette) and Jeffrey Neumann (Rita); her grandchildren, Jacob Neumann, Mark Neumann (Nancy), Kevin Neumann (Jennifer), Kelsey Todd (Bryan), Nicole Baker (Justin), Greta Becker and Sam Becker (Jade); her sister-in-law Ruth Scharnhorst of Quincy; and her friend Denise Gatchel. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (1213 52nd St SE, Kentwood, MI 49508). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of sending flowers Mary's family wishes to recommend contributions be made to Breton Extended Care Center for special activities of benefit to her last friends and neighbors where she died. Make check or money order out to Breton Extended Care and cc that the purpose of the check is for donation to be mailed directly to BEC at the address: 2589 44th St SE, Grand Rapids MI, 49512.
