It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Namey (Kentwood, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Reverski and Dorothy Reverski; her sister Nancy Cooper; and her husband Ed. She is survived by: her children, Edward, Laura Namey, Kevin and Mary Namey; her sister Barbara Bowen; and her grandchildren, Kevin, Kathleen, Alec and Kate. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Women's Sports Foundation (https://www.womenssportsfoundation.org) or the American Cancer Society, reflecting Mary's lifelong commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
