It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kelly Lu Sanford of Kentwood, Michigan, who passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Kelly Lu is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Kelly Lu's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit Luurtsema and Katherine Luurtsema (Crawford); and her siblings, Kathy Dole and Kyle Luurtsema. She is survived by: her son Michael R. Sanford; and her granddaughters, Lily Sanford and Autumn Sanford.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Croton Cemetery (4993 Croton Dr, Newaygo, MI 49337).
