James Dodds Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Dodds of Kentwood, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Malcom Dodds and Mary Lou Dodds; his wife Lila; his sons, Brandon Dodds and Mark Dodds (Jill); his grandchildren, Allison and Nathan Dodds; and his sisters, Deb Simmons and Lana Clore (Dan).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods in recognition of the loving care provided to Jim and his family.
