She was predeceased by: her parents, August Edema and Rena Edema; her former husband Lyman Rienks; her son David Perez; and her sister Clara Alkema.
She is survived by: her husband Don Zimmerman; her daughter Janet Millard (Jon); her grandchildren, Michelle Davis (Jeff), Jason Millard, Kimberly Torres (Sam) and Justin Skinner (Anna); and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Line (Roger) and Mary Rienks. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Betty to Woodward Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
