The memory of Betty Mae Zimmerman of Kentwood, Michigan, who passed away on September 8, 2024 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, August Edema and Rena Edema; her former husband Lyman Rienks; her son David Perez; and her sister Clara Alkema.

She is survived by: her husband Don Zimmerman; her daughter Janet Millard (Jon); her grandchildren, Michelle Davis (Jeff), Jason Millard, Kimberly Torres (Sam) and Justin Skinner (Anna); and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Line (Roger) and Mary Rienks. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Betty to Woodward Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
