He is survived by: his wife Shelly Winberg; his children, Chad (Lorna), Tyler (Jessica), Travis and Chelsea Nurmi; his siblings, Bev (Bill), Jim of Montana and Joey (Paula); and his father-in-law Albert Winberg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
