We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2022, at the age of 82, Richard James Alberts of Kent City, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Alberts and Lucille Alberts; his parents-in-law, Billy and Marie Townsend; and his brothers-in-law, James Townsend and Richard Townsend.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Alberts; his son Ted; his daughter-in-law Cathy Alberts; his grandson Gerrit; his sister Judy; his brother-in-law Silvio; his siblings, Jean Dood and Roger; and his sisters-in-law, Fern Alberts, Carol Zimmer, Nancy Timmer and Alma Hofstra. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grand nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make memorial contributions, the family asks that you consider Spectrum Health Hospice, who took such great care and showed tremendous compassion during his final months.
