With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta June Russell of Kent City, Michigan, born in Casnovia, Michigan, who passed away on August 12, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Afton and Lenita Afton (Wright); her husband Richard Russell; her children, Brenda Ford, Marcia Ashley (Aaron), Denise Hammerstrom (Dan), Rick Russell (Amy), Tammy Miller (Rick), Tracey Mayeda (Bruce) and Kristy Marble (Jerry); and her siblings, Harriet Doxtater, Chuck Afton, Delores DenHof (Bob), Carl Afton (Linda), Joyce Baker and Sue Barendse. She was also cherished by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her great great grandson.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Red Pine Bible Church or Howard Christensen Nature Center.
