He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Cooper (Chick) and Amelia Cooper (Barnes); his daughter Cathy Jo Asmus; and his siblings, Leola June Smith and Russell Wayne Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; and his daughters, Nancy Ann Starr (Allen D.) of Sand Lake, Deborah Jean Rouhan (Patrick) of Howard City, Virginia Kay Hammer (Bill) of Baldwin, Karen Sue McCarty (Timothy) of Kent City, Vivian Louise Felde (Gary) of Kent City and Tracy Lynn Cooper of Kent City. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, or Crohns Research.
