He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd "Dutch" and Eva Stoner (Allen); his brothers, Dick Stoner and Leroy "Posey"; and his wife Lila Stoner.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Edward Jr. Ellsworth (Gail) of Stanwood, Stacey Gross (Tony Jammal) of Massachusetts and Gary Jr. Stoner (Kelly) of Hawkins; his daughter-in-law Beth Stoner of Kent City; and his grandchildren, Jayson Stoner, Brandon Stoner and Megan Stoner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
