We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2022, at the age of 90, Elizabeth Joanne Romeyn (Kent City, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Romeyn; her children, Jack Durant and Eileen Gerard; her parents, Alfred Wannepain and Elizabeth Wannepain; her brother Gene Wannepain; her grandchildren, Matthew Romeyn and Carrie Durant; her cousin Ron Evink; and her son-in-law Bill Partee.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Herringa, Sue Vander Laan (Larry), Wayne Romeyn (Gena) and Barry Romeyn (Christine); her grandchildren, Sarah, RuthAnn, Rebecca, Tracy (Gary), Eric, Kim, Kelly, Todd (Amber), Allen (Emily) and Heather; her great grandchildren, Joseph, Everest, Rhone, Christopher, Kaden, Devin, Tyler, Heather and Stephen; and her sister Frances Clark. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In memory of Betty and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ASPCA or American Cancer Society.
