He was predeceased by: his parent Udina Marie Eaton; his son Ron Davis; his former wife Nancy Byrd; and his siblings, Floyd Dean, Dwight Dean, Eugene Dean and Lila Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Jeff Davis (Benita), Jody Davis-Coon (Carl), Shannon Byrd (Tinalissa) and Shane Byrd (Andrea); and his daughter-in-law Julie Davis. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
