She was predeceased by: her parents, John Spilka and Olga Spilka (Simiec); her son Craig Sarsfield; her siblings, Caroline Pospishel and Johnny Spilka; and her grandson Justin Sarmiento.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Sarsfield; her daughters, Tammy Sarmiento (Jerry) of Texas, Vicki Fanion (Leonard Bradshaw) of Clyde Township and Penny Patterson (David) of Kimball Township; her grandchildren, Cody, Brad, Crystal, Brandon, Brent, Alyssa and Kayla; her great grandchildren, Carissa, Caylee, Carleigh, Zoey, Rylee, Weston and Colton; and her sister Sally Spilka. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
