With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald J Atkinson of Kenockee, Michigan, born in Port Huron, Michigan, who passed away on April 26, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Atkinson and Ethel Atkinson; and his siblings, Elmer, John, Gary, Donna and Carol.

He is survived by: his daughter Mylissa Atkinson (Victoria Sturgill); his stepdaughters, Trisha Cross (Patrick) and Stella Hill (Matthew Stewart); his stepgrandchildren, Kaylee, Pavel-Jack, Phoenix and Promose; and his siblings, Shirley Murray, Barbara Brennan (Lester), Joyce Atkinson, Roger Atkinson and Dale Atkinson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to his daughter, Mylissa, for his step-grandchildren.
