She was predeceased by: her mother Eula McMurry; her stepfather William McMurry; and her aunt Alma Campbell. She is survived by: her husband Daniel P. McKernan; her children, Daniel T. McKernan (Jen), Therese E. McKernan and Denise M. Galardi; her granddaughters, Wilhelmina and Caitriona Galardi; and her sisters, Lura Buccellato, Argie Lomas (David) and Karen Dawson (Charles). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
