William H. Bond Obituary
William "Bill" H. Bond, age 78, of Kawkawlin, Michigan passed away February 21, 2025, at Toni & Trish House with his family by his side. He was born on March 19, 1946, in Bay City, Michigan to the late Wilbert & Helen (Haken) Bond. Bill attended Handy High School where he met his future bride, Susan Pett. They celebrated 50 years of marriage before Susan's passing January 19, 2019.
Bill was an Iron Worker with Local 426/25 for over 58 years beginning on July 1, 1966. He enjoyed being a father, his family, hunting, fishing, golfing, woodworking, puzzles, and playing cards. Bill was a loving, kind, and wise man that will be missed by all that were lucky enough to know him.
He is survived by his daughters; Melissa and Ashley Bond, brothers; Tom (Cindy) Bond, Fred Bond, sister; Priscilla "Peg" Lange, sister-in law Nancy (Don) Varner, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law; Carl & Ellie Pett, sister-in-law Char Bond, and brother-in-law Richard Lange.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 11:00 am at Foundation Church with Pastor Scott Morris presiding, with burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at Rivertown Funeral Chapel Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. On Thursday at Church from 10:00 am until time of service.
