She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry King and Catherine King; her husband Gary Bloom; and her brother Jerome King. She is survived by: her children, Bridget Dewald (Bob) and Darryl; her grandsons, Dillon Gary Fassett (Austin) and Cody Dewald; and her cousin Beverly Shalla.

Per her request, her body has been donated to the University of Michigan for research.
