He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Basner and Emma Basner (Cain); his brothers, Mike Basner and Harry Basner; and his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Basner and Darlene Basner.
He is survived by: his spouse Meredith Seaman; his daughters, Barb Foor (Garold) and Sally Basner; his grandchildren, Josh Foor (Arlene) and Jessica Vennix (Evan); his great grandchildren, Owen, Avery, Logan and Jase; and his brothers, Dewey Basner, Sam Basner (Gail) and Ken Basner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
