He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ahler and Myrtle Ahler (Prime); his siblings, Cathy Ahler and Tim Ahler; and his brother-in-law Rod Loney.
He is survived by: his wife Ebbi Jo Ahler (Rangel); his daughters, Heidi (Ahler), Klender (Matthew) and Samantha Ahler; his stepson Matthew Zeilinger (Ashley); his sisters, Cindy Linton (Steve) and Connie Davis; and his grandchildren, Adam, Leah Perreault, Ally, Andrew and Hanna Zeilinger. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
