She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira BriggsSurvivors and Loraine BriggsSurvivors (Leftwich); her son Johnny Watt Carr Jr.; her grandsons, Nathan Andrew Cleveland Brothers, Vernon Briggs, Bobby Briggs and Milton Briggs (Kemp); and her sisters, Edna Kirby and Faye Adcock.
She is survived by: her daughter Gwendolynne (Gwen); her son-in-law Greg; her grandchildren, Felicia (Renee), Christina Michael (Chrissy), Stacy, Jason and Christopher (Emily); her great grandchildren, Anthony John Ashley (Renee), Brittney (Britt), Brandon Shyanne (Christina), Jamie (Michael) and Willow (Stacy); her great great grandchildren, Tatum, Juliana, Taryn, Teagan, Kaileena, Amberyl, Liam, Carter, Kinsey and Cole; her siblings, Betty Callis, Beverly Scurlock, Judy Morris, Maurice Briggs and Jerry Briggs; and also Thomas (Tommy). She is also survived by her family and friends.
