Linda Lou Cunningham Obituary

Linda Lou Cunningham, 78, passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 6, 2025. Born on July 16, 1948 in Essexville, MI, to the late Theron and Gladys Monroe. Devoted mother, doting grandmother, and beloved sister, Linda's warmth and kindness uplifted all who were graced by her presence.

Linda's journey through life was marked by an unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her grandchildren, Jade (Christopher) Cunningham-Dow, Cole Cunningham, Malachi Cunningham, Mika Cunningham, and her great-grandson, Bowie Dow. Her caring sister-in-law, Kim Cunningham, was a source of immeasurable comfort in her final days and Linda's daughter-in-law, Kathleen Cunningham, will hold onto the wisdom she imparted.

Linda's siblings, Fay Revord, Theron Monroe (Buck), Donna Dubay, Kenneth Cunningham, and Mark Cunningham, each hold a special place in their hearts for their sister. Her best friend and niece, Penny Reetz, along with several nieces and nephews, will dearly miss the light of her guidance and friendship.

Predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Robert "Bob" Cunningham, her sons, Robert and Scott Cunningham, and her parents, Theron and Gladys Monroe, welcomed her home with open arms.

Linda was the embodiment of love and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. Her memory will live on as an inspiration to cherish every moment and to spread love tirelessly as she did.
