With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lila M Hompstead (Kawkawlin, Michigan), who passed away on August 27, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Clayton Lauria; her husband Robert; her brothers, Robert and LaVern Lauria; and her sister-in-law Esther Emry.
She is survived by: her sons, James Hompstead (Christine Christie) of Saint Johns, Timothy Hompstead of Bay City and Todd Hompstead of Joliet; her granddaughters, Kirsten Hompstead, McKayla Hompstead, Haley Hompstead and Celeste Hompstead; her close friend Sheri Kuch; and her siblings, Bonnie Kasper (Ron), Jeannie Laverty (late John) and Del Lauria (Mary). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
