She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Childers and Wilma Childers (Wilson); and her sister Diane Childers. She is survived by: her husband Michael "Mike" Smykla; her daughters, Paula (Charles Brace) and Regina; her grandchildren, Kaylee, Abigail and Jacob; and her siblings, Howard Childers, Jean Smith and Debbie Reynolds.
