He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard O'Toole and Mary O'Toole (McDermott); his wife Carol Snook; and his brothers, Jerry (Carol), Jim (Stephanie) and Bud O'Toole (Ellie).

He is survived by: his children, Margaret Maffeo (Peggy), Patrick O'Toole, Daniel O'Toole, Kathleen Walters (Ray), Gerald O'Toole (Tara) and Kerry Murray (Robert).
