He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis J. Whyte and Dorothy Whyte (Martin); his brothers, Curtis Whyte and Thomas Whyte; his son Stephen Whyte; and his granddaughter Brittany Severy.
He is survived by: his daughter Stacy Mindykowski (Dennis); his daughter-in-law Kim Dawes; his great grandchildren, Trinity and Tristian Severy; his sister Patricia Stapish; and his close friend Elizabeth Loll.
