He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cornelius Teman and Ida Teman; his wife Mildred Ellen Sturm; his daughters, Kathy T. Henderson (Tom) of Shelburne, Vt and Brenda Zehr (Bryan); and his siblings, Richard Teman, Virginia Teman and Elizabeth Azimat Mohr. He was also cherished by 4 grand children, 7 great grand children, and several nieces and nephews.
James bravely fought Parkinson's Disease for more than 10 years before he died at home from complications related to Parkinson's.
