He is survived by: his wife Trudy Root; his children, Sandra Johnson (William) of Williston, ND, Taska Springs of Beaverton and Mandie Allison of Beaverton, Michigan.; his grandchildren, Frances Springs, Jennifer Johnson, William Vaughn, Douglas Vaughn, Zakary Johnson, Martesha Williams, Jeffery Allison and Trudy Allison; his great great grandchild James; and his sisters, Linda Clever, Effie Jane Russell and Sandra Haynes (Gene).
