With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Curphy of Kawkawlin, Michigan, born in Bay City, Michigan, who passed away on December 4, 2022 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Curphy and Jessie Curphy (Guyott); his nephew Richard Kret; and his parents-in-law, Jack and Nancy Wetters.

He is survived by: his wife Alice M. Curphy; his children, Amber Curphy, Jamie Curphy (Michael Verhaeghe) and Aaron Curphy; his pets, Rosie, Sage and Morgan; his sister Tricia Kret (Kenneth); his niece Meredith Kret; his brother Micheal Curphy (Carmen); his brothers-in-law, John Wetters and Derrick Wetters (Peggy); and his niece Hollie Gentle (Patrick).

In lieu of flowers memorial cards for Fresenius Kidney Care of Essexville or St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church will be available at the church.
