Charles R. Keyes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles R. Keyes (Kawkawlin, Michigan), born in Gilford, Michigan, who passed away on January 21, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Keyes and Sylvia Keyes (Johnson); his wife Joyce; his children, Linda and Larry Keyes; his sister Charlotte; his siblings-in-law, Hank Haske, Marlene Keyes, Arnie Nickel, Norm and Liz Nickel; and his parents-in-law, Henry and Myrtle Nickel (Krause).

He is survived by: his children, Cheri Bauer (Bernie) of Reese, Jeff Keyes (Michelle) of Grand Rapids and Gary Keyes (Jodie) of Saginaw; his grandchildren, Melissa Bauer of Birch Run, Josh Bauer (Diana) of Rayne, LA, Angela Haan (Dean) of Spring Lake, Matt Bauer of Reese, Amber Keyes of Ann Arbor, Jody Sage (Will) of Munger, Shelby Keyes (Jacob Worth) of Saginaw and Henry Keyes of Saginaw; his great grandchildren, Lauren Bauer, Aaron Bowers, William Sage, Thomas Sage, Walter Bauer, Andrew Sage, Marion Bauer and James Sage; his brother Fred Keyes; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Nickel (Sue) and Jean Nickel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
