Carol Lynn Berthiaume Obituary
Carol Lynn Berthiaume, age 78, of Pinconning, Michigan, went home to her Lord and Savior on January 30, 2025. Born on December 6, 1946, in Standish, Michigan. Carol was the cherished daughter of Jack White Sr. and Aletha (Miller) White. A proud graduate of Standish-Sterling Central High School's Class of 1965, Carol went on to build a life filled with love and purpose.
On February 24, 1968, she married Bruce E. Berthiaume at St. Michael's Church in Pinconning, embarking on a journey of 57 beautiful years together. A union that was blessed with two children, Rachelle and Dean.
Carol dedicated over four decades to her career as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, retiring from Rite Aid Pharmacy in Standish Michigan in 2009. In her retirement, she embraced creativity and nature by crafting wine under her own Cabin Creek Winery label from grapes harvested at the family's Wixom Lake cabin.
A woman of many talents and passions, Carol found joy in quilting intricate designs, exploring antique treasures, and losing herself in the pages of books. Her heart was most full when surrounded by family—whether cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events or gathering loved ones for holidays at the family cabin. She also held fond memories of trips to Florida and Arizona to visit her son and brother.
Carol's legacy is one of warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her presence brought light to all who knew her. She leaves behind her devoted husband Bruce; daughter Rachelle (Miles) Coffland; son Dean (Sarah) Berthiaume; grandchildren Cameron (Jordyn) Mitchell, Carson Mitchell, Caiden Mitchell, Landon Berthiaume, Michael Coffland, and Zackary Coffland; brother Jack A. White Jr.; Uncle Bob Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
Carol was predeceased by her parents; brothers James White and Kenneth White; nephews Jimmie White and Eric White; and in-laws Jack and Lois Berthiaume.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a later date. May Carol's memory forever bring peace to those who loved her.
