He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Phelps and Edythe Phelps; and his daughter Janis Dykema. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; and his children, Kathy Swanson (Scott), Barbara Southwell (Bruce) and Robert Dykema. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
