He was predeceased by: his parents, James Butler and Dorothy Butler (Eurick); his daughter Dawn Marie Nettles; his girlfriend Pam Lawson; and his brothers, Gary and James Butler.
He is survived by: his children, Bridget Cook (Jeff) and Michael Butler; his grandson Maciel Nettles; the mother of his children Karen Marshall Butler; his sisters, Patricia Bosar (Curtiss) and Susan Riedlinger; and his brother-in-law Bill Riedlinger.
