It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Kenneth Smith Jr. (Kalkaska, Michigan), born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard K. Smith Sr. and Carolyn R. Fleenor Smith (Fleenor); and his brother David Smith. He is survived by: his significant other Brenda G. Smith; his daughter Chelsea R. Smith (Justin); and his siblings, Dennis Smith (Jill), Sandy and Retha Smith Johnson (Eric). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
