He is survived by: his children, Scott Scarlett (Paula), Terri Scarlett-Esper (John), Todd Scarlett and Kathy Scarlett; his grandchildren, Jamie Scarlett, Ashley, Lawrence Scarlett, Samantha, Kelly and Stacy Berndt; his great grandchildren, Thomas and Elsie; and his siblings, George Scarlett (Wilma), Hattie Chapman (Gary) and Mary Ann Wilson (Harry). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
